If you would like to be kept up to date with the upcoming lists, please subscribe to my newsletter by clicking this link. I don’t send out letters too often, pretty much once a month when this list goes out… and occasionally if I release a book or something.
As always, this is not a comprehensive list, but only includes all the books I have heard about so far.
If you have a fantasy novel you are self publishing in June or beyond, let me know by filling out THIS FORM, and I shall add it to the page. There are but 3 requirements:
1) It must be a self published fantasy novel.
2) It must have a Goodreads page.
3) It must have a cover.

31st July – A Wager for Wanderlust by Michael Spearwater
Romance

Travel might broaden the soul, but Ollover Sterkey’d had enough of that during his time in the army. Now that the War was five years past and the world knew peace, he was looking to find some peace of his own. Gainful employment as a valet to a minor peer seemed the next step towards that goal.
Amadeo Brume, Ollover’s new employer, had passion and plans, but was fast running short on time. With his troth pledged and his wedding to be in three months, he latched onto the perfect excuse for one last grand adventure, so far around the curve of the globe that they would arrive home in time for church bells.
And so, Ollover was obliged to follow Brume across continents and oceans, through boudoirs and brew houses, all the while meeting new and strangely friendly people. For, like it or not, his employer’s peculiar proclivities set the tone for an adventure the likes of which a humble valet might never have imagined.
Fair This is a self-indulgent conceit of a novel, a fantasy imagining of Around the World in Eighty Days set in a post-bellum era and with a bon-vivant libertine of a protagonist who’s ready to charm and seduce his way across three continents and a couple of oceans. And he does, frequently and enthusiastically.
Ollover has his work as a valet cut out for him. Perhaps it will all end happily for them both.

In the frozen reaches of the Glacial Seas, an island of living bone harbors an ancient wonder—and a growing nightmare.
When strange bone ships begin attacking merchants in northern waters, Rukes, the legendary Blademaster of Urlas, is sent to investigate. What he discovers defies an entire island crafted from the bones of extinct creatures, where animated constructs tend gardens of ossified flora preserved in eternal memory.
But something is terribly wrong. The island’s guardians attack without provocation. The bone constructs writhe in silent agony. And at the heart of the island, an ancient Dwemhar device known as the Deep Forge pulses with corrupted energy.
As Rukes delves deeper into the mystery, he uncovers a sinister plot by the Guild of Eternal Wisdom—necromancers who seek to transform the Forge from a marvel of preservation into an amplifier of death magic. Their success would mean not just the suffering of the island’s unique consciousness, but the creation of necromantic power unlike anything seen in centuries.
With unlikely allies including the alabaster-skinned Ossari and the evolving bone constructs themselves, Rukes must navigate both combat and diplomacy to restore the Forge’s true purpose. But even as he faces the immediate threat, he senses this is merely the first move in a darker game—one where ancient Dwemhar sites across the world lie vulnerable to similar corruption.
